The Rest of our June

It's still summer over here on the blog! Here was the rest of our June.

Father's Day was the Sunday of the weekend that the Iya's said goodbye. It least it gave us something to distract us from our sorrow (saying farewell).

The girls made coupons. Here is Kelsey's coupon for daddy. gee, thanks.

below: We took an afternoon fishing trip!
below: Sunday evening, we went to our Sunday school class' "seasoned couple's" house for a summer bbq. It was such a fun evening

They have a beautiful yard!
below: a little karaoke, Dad and daughter style.

below: I took this picture and I have no idea why.
below: Monday evening we had one of Daddy's softball games. One of our favorite parts of the summer!

below: Opa ate dinner with us and then came with us to watch th game.

below: That week we hit the pool. I bought Parker this swimmie thing in the hopes that he could swim but it really just kind of dumped him head first into the water. oops.

below: We had Molly and Annie over for a "birthday sleepover" since Kelsey's birthday was earlier that month
below: they play together so nicely

below: chocolate chip cookie cake. my girls' favorite right now
below: I had to take this adorable pic of the four girls, horizontal on the bed.

below: mornings are hard

I went on this "making big breakfasts" fix this summer. Parker loves eggs

That weekend Daddy tackled a nasty project- repainting the back deck. He enlisted a fellow youth group leader's help. Sorry, Mark.

below: Mark is an uncle. Can't you tell?

below: I took a pic of Calla's Sunday school that Sunday because it was the last official meeting before taking a month break in the summer. The Sunday school teachers did some fun Bible games to celebrate and it was so cute

below: some of my kids in my "small group" room. I loved leading small group! I miss doing it this year.

below: Emery and Calla. They've always been close church buddies.

below: napping with Bubba

below: typical

We had Parker's one-year photos in June. Here are a handful. I have to post the rest.
below: LOL. Typical Bubba

below: visiting the historical museum's train
below: This place is right in Wheaton and there's a fun play area there

below: more Parker photos

below: One morning, I made cinnamon buns and we randomly went to the library to eat them before going inside. The kids loved it! ha!

below: Parker messing up the library

below: Calla and her friend Brooke, playing piano

below: someone stealing my phone to take an awkward photo

below: In June we decided to repaint the railings that needed repainting. Jay was allowed to help if he took his clothes off bc the paint stained. I didn't mean underwear ! ha!

below: In July, on our 10-year anniversary actually, we had our home study visit for the adoption. I didn't take photos but apparently Kelsey did on my phone. haha

below: Parker and an unfortunate bug bite.

below: more Kelsey photos

below: This was the time I said something about not being able to find my stamps for my mail and Kelsey said she could help and came running with her play stamps and an ink pad.
below: out for our 10-year anniversary. Stefani babysat

below: Bubba asleep. We still think it's so cute
